Official ours!

This morning we returned to the Civil Affairs Office to complete the adoption. The child and the family must spend the first 24 hours together to get to know each other before signing the final documents. This can be a very critical time because if the child is afraid or grieving they can refuse to sign (if they are over 10 years old). Jinbao signed without hesitation! We have tons of photos but will upload them later when I have more time. Afterward we went out and ate at a nice restaurant to celebrate. It has been a challenge here in Harbin to find food without MSG (I am allergic) because they use it in everything. My guide has been very helpful trying to get food for me without MSG and even Jinbao has been advocating for me. I will post more photos later.
